We were a couple of people short for Quilt Camp and so l decided to cancel it.
Thought about it a little more and have decided to run it as a self catering camp, have never done that before. That way l should be able to drop the price by around $80.00, to $160.00 for the weekend.
It involves people bringing some food to share for morning and afternoon teas and happy hour. I'll do a very simple breakfast. People will organise their own lunch, there are plenty of places in Monbulk and Emerald to grab a quick bite to eat. Thought l'd book in at the local bowling club for dinner on Saturday night, that's always a good feed at a reasonable price. We'll finish up at 1.00pm on Sunday and you can grab lunch on the way home.
Every thing else will be the same, there'll be name tags, lollies on the table, champagne on arrival and at Happy Hour on Saturday. There'll still be your little gifts. Dear Jane will go ahead for those wanting to be involved.
Let me know if you are interested, l need 20 people to go ahead. Oh and the important info, the day remains the same - Friday 30th, Sat 31st of March and Sun April 1st.
