Last night we had a bad night with our little dog Sybil (who will be 16 in April), we have just come back from the vetys and they have been able to give her some drops to ease the pain. I know we'll know when the right time is, but gosh it's hard. I couldn't even get past the explanation without sobbing.
I am going to Revamp the Camp,,, so watch this space.
Oh Karen, I am thinking of you.

Awwww Lovey, our precious beautiful Kelpie lost the use of her legs and we decided that the best thing we could do for her was well you know.....it was so hard and to hear you talking about Sybil makes me realise that we are not the only "crazies" out there who treat their dog as one of their own. We have since adopted a beautiful kelpie/lab cross who has managed to worm her way into our hearts, but for Chris and I will never quite replace out gorgeous "Charlie". Jeep your chin up believe me it is a really hard decision but our vet was wonderful and we sat with her for ages saying our own goodbyes. claire xoxo
