Meant to post a very merry Chjristmas to you all on Christmas Eve, but things don't always go as planned. Have had a couple of days off and although the shop is closed the web site is still up and running.
We had a lovely Christmas. I cooked the meat on Christmas Eve day, much easier that way and decorated the table. Then went into town to pick Sam up, had a meal then came home and did a bit more. Went to bed and slept for an hour and woke with some shocking pains. Ended up on the couch in a lot of pain. 50 Shades was sound asleep, didn't seem worth worrying him as l didn't really think there was anything that could be done at that hour.
Did our usual drop in on a friend for morning coffee, then to another friends for breakfast. Got home and started preparing the vegetables. It was one of those days when nothing went wrong. The meal was yummy and the family enjoyed what was dished up. Ray's nieces both brought their partners for the first time and l think they enjoyed their Merry Martin Christmas too. Once the family left we did a tidy up and headed down the road to a friend's house. A full day but very enjoyable.
Took Sam home in the morning and then seareched for a clinic to see what this pain was. Had blood tests and won't get the results back until tomorrow sometime. Tried to book into my local doc for tomorrow and was told they are booked out and had to ring first thing in the morning because there will be some extra appointments offerred. If l don't get in to see some one they'll be dealing with a maniac. I have at least been able to sleep, can't complain though, it only hurts when l breathe (nope, not kidding!).
Hope you all had a lovely day on Tuesday and that maybe things have settled down a bit now that it's all behind us. I actually really feel like l am on hols now and loving it. Took the decs down last night.

Gosh, Karen.Sounds horrible.Hope your doctor can figure it out. Sounds like what I had when it was gallstones.......
