The question on everyone's lips..... I love ric rac and sell it in all colours and sizes, my fav would have to be the linen ric rac. Have never known how you measure the width of the different ric racs until now.
Great to use when doing embroidery, simply run through your printer, press onto your background fabric and start stitching.
Then simply remove by submerging in warm water, agitate for 2 - 3 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
Decided we'd go to the movies. No need to book, we'll probably be the only ones there. Not so. The people in front of us got the last 2 tics for the movie we wanted to see. So we turned around and came home.
Gave 50 Shades a chance to play around with my computer. He suddenly got interested in my problems when l said l'd need to share his computer until George came around to fix mine.
He loves his computer and he doesn't like to share it. He has spent the last hour playing around and he's got it going. Amazing what he can do when he puts his mind to it.
Has had a heart attack. I am sharing 50 Shade's computer which l find stressful. I can answer emails on mine but have no internet access. I am waiting for my computer guru to get in touch with me, hopefully he'll be able to help.
So if l don't post often don't give up on me, it means l am in the queue, waiting for a turn.
50 Shades and l decided we would take a train trip to Castlemaine today. We had an early start, drove along King St at about 8.45 - young people everywhere, they were still celebarating Saturday night. Parked in our normal carpark, but had to drive around a parked police car, they were dealing with a bunch of young people. Got out of the lift, the lift next to us opened, full of young men who were obviously hiding from the police, oh did l mention that we came across one young man who was hiding behind cars. I found all that a bit intimidating to be honest.
Bought our tickets and were told that we had to catch a bus to Sunbury because they were working on the tracks. Got to Castlemaine and found that many of the shops had decided to take a break between Christmas and New Year.
Although it didn't go according to plan it was still a lovely day.
March, April, May Calendar I am away from Saturday April 15th until Monday May 8th. going on a road trip with seven other ladies from Chicago to Nashville. Along the way there will be a quilt shop or 2 and 4 days at the Paducah Quilt Market. I will be posting my adventures on the blog and Facebook.
