My Summer Project....

This the last UFO l have to finish and l hope to knock over a good part of it this holidays. I do have a confession, l started it last January and only got a few blocks done.

I have seen the quilt finished and love it. I am using a couple of layer cakes from the 1862 Battle Hymn range.

My feature fabric is These are the 'B' blocks.....

All done.

I am working on the 'C' blocks. Haven't done too many Y seams, am pretty happy with these. Don't really know why l've avoided them til now. I am half way through these ones.

I am hoping to offer this as a Saturday sew along with me during the year if any one is interested. The cost of the class will include the pattern and templates.

While you are here....
If you are visiting Mrs Martin's Quilt Shop during Winding Ways you might like to set aside some time to visit other local shops. Monbulk has a lovely little shopping strip. I have listed some shops you might enjoy.
Winding Ways name tags.....
This is just a bit of fun. I see so many familiar faces and hate it when l don't know people's names. So decided l'd give the Winding Ways name tag a go. Feel free to download the pattern and whip one up. If you wear it to Mrs Martin's Quilt Shop you'll receive a small gift from me.
Winding Ways, First Prize 2013.....
How to win first prize..... Collect your Wild Goose Chase sheet at the first shop you visit. Each shop has 3 questions on the Wild Goose Chase sheet. You will need to make a $10.00 purchase at each shop and answer all 3 questions correctly to go into the draw for first prize. If you can't find the answers to the questions just ask. Have your questions stamped by the shop once you've made your purchase. Once you've visited all 5 shops and answered the questions leave your completed sheet with the last shop you visit.
