Made all the blocks for a quilt, set them out to see how it looks and hate it. I have just asked 50 Shades the same question, he's too nervous to answer it in case he says the wrong thing. Smart man my 50 Shades.
Point is, the pattern called for 15 - 20 blended fabrics. I used 2 layer cakes, so although they are from the same range there are more than suggested. But l do love the range l have chosen. Love all the blocks, have finished all the blocks. Layed the quilt out and l hate it.
Now the question is, do l just put it together and "suck it up princess" or do l play with the block arrangement or do l wait for the girls to come around on Saturday night and see what they think.

Wait for the girls to come around and see what they think. Sometimes we don't see things the way others see them and fresh insight is helpful.

Maybe have a play around Karen - if you don't like it any better I would get the girls opinion on Saturday - sometimes another eye or two helps
