Seems like Valentines Day is everywhere and most people know about it, but once again 50 Shades was totally surprised to know that today was the day of looooove. He's been caught out again, as he is with every other day of celebration - Mother's Day - fair call, l am not his mother, Easter always hits him for a 6, Christmas - l didn't think we were doing presents and well birthdays....he has forgotten 2 of my birthdays, funny l have it the same day every year. I usually get a lovely card and that's well received because he writes beautifully, but surpise every now and then would be lovely.
He was reading in bed this morning and l grabbed a little gift bag and a card and presented to him. "Oh Kaz, l didn't realise we were doing pressies." He was very grateful, it was just a little bit of chocolate, no big deal really.
Fancy saying to the woman who celebrates everything that he didn't think we were doing anything.
Any way just wanted to wish you a happy Valentine's Day.
Same here. Thought we didnt celebrate......well hello I do something every year. Maybe we should get these two together

I do have to admire 50 Shades' tenacity Karen...in the face of your irrepressible urge to celebrate absolutely everything, he still manages to sail through life blissfully unaware. That really cracks me up!

I too admire your perserverence! I gave up years ago when the comment always came back - "but you know I don't believe in Valentines Day." How convenient. Enjoy your day!
