Friday Night with Friends.....

My friend Kali was telling me about Friday Night with Friends, an online stitching group who share what they are doing on the first Friday night of the month. Thought l'd sign up. Tonight l hope to work on my small Double Wedding Quilt, there's a little corner that's gave me a bit of trouble yesterday. Hopefully l can look at it with fresh eyes tonight and finish it off.

Keep in mind it needs a good press. If l knock that over l am going to start adding the bindings to large hexie quilt l got back from the quilters yesterday. I actually ran out of the fabric for the binding so a very dear friend shared some of her fabric with me.

If you are visiting Mrs Martin's Quilt Shop during Winding Ways you might like to set aside some time to visit other local shops. Monbulk has a lovely little shopping strip. I have listed some shops you might enjoy.

Winding Ways, First Prize 2013.....
How to win first prize..... Collect your Wild Goose Chase sheet at the first shop you visit. Each shop has 3 questions on the Wild Goose Chase sheet. You will need to make a $10.00 purchase at each shop and answer all 3 questions correctly to go into the draw for first prize. If you can't find the answers to the questions just ask. Have your questions stamped by the shop once you've made your purchase. Once you've visited all 5 shops and answered the questions leave your completed sheet with the last shop you visit.
