Had been given the name of a patchwork shop that l hoped to visit while l was here.
Today we were poking around the Latin Quarter..... just so happens that's where Le Rouvray is, so it was the perfect opportunity to pick up a fat quarter or two. I knew that it didn't open until 12. We had a little bit of trouble finding it. Stopped at a little shop selling macarons. The young woman was ever so helpful and pointed us in the right direction. Sadly the shop had the security doors down, we went away and came back later, same thing, still locked up. It may well be they way they do it over here but l was very disappointed, the sign clearly stated the shop hours. Looks like l won't get back to it, my time here is precious.
By the way, we bought a small bag of macarons. I have never tasted them, wanted my first taste to be in Paris and not Maccas back home. We both loved them. Will probably never taste them again, that way they'll always be special.
