The question on everyone's lips..... I love ric rac and sell it in all colours and sizes, my fav would have to be the linen ric rac. Have never known how you measure the width of the different ric racs until now.
Great to use when doing embroidery, simply run through your printer, press onto your background fabric and start stitching.
Then simply remove by submerging in warm water, agitate for 2 - 3 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
Have been back onto the ABS help line, got someone different. They cannot give out a replacement password l am told, didn't stop the woman yesterday. Was told just to fill out what l could, said l did. They looked at my form and said it was blank.... said l did what l could. Offered to go through it with me. There are about 20 pages to fill out so said no l would prefer a hard copy sent to me. Was told to ignore anymore letters about fines and being late. Told her the last letter l ignored their letters l got into trouble. I have now had the due date extended.
With the ABS - Bureau of Statistics for those of you who are wondering. This is a bit of an l said, she said story.
Months ago l got a survey, which l ignored. So got a follow up letter to say this wasn't a choice thing - you have to fill it in. The questions involved a bit of research through my files so filled in what l could, jobs done.
The other day l got a more threatening letter. So l tried to log in and see what l'd missed. Of course the password wouldn't get me into the thing so l rang. Told her my story, she must have checked it and came back to me to say the form was incomplete. I told her l filled in what l could, she said that all l'd filled in was my name and address, had to agree with her on that.
Apparently this was not good enough. So l ranted on about how many pages there were to complete and how l am a small business and that l was busy, blah, blah, blah and that any rate the ATO knows when l scratch myself. She wasn't interested. All she did was give me another password. So last night l sat down to work my way through it. The new password DOES NOT WORK!!!
And so l am writing to you and taking some deep breathes before l make another bloody phone call.
Which is one of my favourite shows at the moment. I must admit l watch a lot of it with my hands over my eyes. Some bits scare the living daylights out of me. But l still love it, James Spader is a fav of mine.
I have just added a new folder to the web site....My Favourite Things by Kerry Gillespie. Her patterns sold well at the Stitching Soiree last weekend and l thought l'd share some with you. I have limited numbers at the moment but will be placing an order tomorrow, so you will not miss out. Enjoy! Here's a sample.....
And l got a new shipment of those little LED Rechargeable Folding Desk Lamps (which have been walking out the door) in on Friday. I took one out of stock and have been using it when l was doing some stitching the other night, it's brilliant. Apparanetly they are great set up next to your sewing macjine as well. I have 7 left.....$29.95, taking them to Ballarat next weekend.
Came home and broke a tooth. Life has been brilliant of late so have been waiting for something not so nice to happen, my teeth are appalling thanks to the dentists who drilled them like crazy in the 60s. Have got some major work about to happen, was waiting til after the shows, now know where l am spending part of Monday.
