The question on everyone's lips..... I love ric rac and sell it in all colours and sizes, my fav would have to be the linen ric rac. Have never known how you measure the width of the different ric racs until now.
Great to use when doing embroidery, simply run through your printer, press onto your background fabric and start stitching.
Then simply remove by submerging in warm water, agitate for 2 - 3 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
The parcel for the Cottage Garden Threads Club has just arrived, l will try to get them sorted today but l am packing to do a show tomorrow. At the very latest they will be processed on Monday. Yes Bron yours will be under the counter for you just in case you come up tomorrow. Sheryl Haley the girls are sending your in another parcel, they accidently left it out.
They look great, will try to take a pic today and let you see what you get.... that way if you still want to sign up you can. (I didn't know that until last night.)
I did have some come in earlier and they have gone, l got 5 more from my local newsagents yesterday. They are a bit slower to get here but are $22 compared to the $30 l had to charge when l got them by air l think it is well worth the wait.
I will now be ordering through my local, as l mentioned before they will be a bit slower but a lot cheaper. I am charging you what my bloke charges me, so not making any money on the sale but happy to provide a service to you guys.
If you are on my list let me know if you are happy to wait until the newsagents gets them in, l will no longer be ordering from France, it's just too expensive.
And if you missed out and want one of Issue 9 let me know.
Early Friday and l have printed off that EXCEL sheet that l have been whinging about for the last few days, yipppeee. I have published the February newsletter and I am waiting for two different tradies to arrive, one to put in the downlights in the carport and the other to start prepping the driveway for the ashphalt that is going down on Monday. Nothing better than having tradies around.
It's not too late to sign up for the My House My Home Swap.
I am expecting the threads for the Cottage Garden Threads Club to arrive today. If they do l will let you know.
Am off to Philip Island tomorrow, nothing as nice as being locked in a room with a bunch of quilters. Almost as good as having two lots of tradies working around the house on the same day.
Even if it kills me. I picked up a copy of EXCEL for Dummies yesterday and mine seems to be broken, cause l can't work out how to tally a list of numbers.
At least l have the names on the top of the columns and the numbers in the correct columns. Now l am trying to work out the formula, how hard can it be to do that..... I know l have to put in the = sign and then what?
I know my IT mate will come to my rescue when she reads what l am doing. She'll kinda be proud that l am even having a go.
The web site is down or at least part of it is. Seems you can buy off it but l can't add anything new. I am waiting for some help but the site will not accept my password and this afternoon the door lock broke and l couldn't get in our out of the shop door.
But folks....tomorrow is going to be a brilliant day!
Let the advertising begin. The show is on Saturday March 15th at the Monbulk Hub.....same place as last year.
Something new.....this year St George's Church is running a Car Boot Sale in the church grounds. Cost is $20.00 per stall/ car. If you are interested in booking a space please email me and l will provide you with a contact number, The Car Boot sale will run from 9.00am - 1.00pm
