Quilts are a gift to patients with a life threatening illness aged from a few days old too their early twenties.
Quilt making days are fun, the hum of the sewing machines, laughter, catching up with old friends and making new ones.
On Thursday November 9th l am hosting a Snuggly Quilts Day at Mrs Martin's Quilt Shop. Everyone is welcome either for a few minutes or the entire day. There are a range of tasks that you may assist with, we start the day at 9.30am is and finish at 4.00pm.
Marie Lee brings quilts at all stages of the making, so you might be adding bindings, cutting squares, sewing tops and the list goes on. If you can spare some time l would appreciate your help. There will be a job for everyone from the very experienced to the novice quilter.
Please bring a sewing machine in good working order (with a quarter inch foot), extension lead and power board. Basic sewing requirements, i.e. scissors, pins and needles.
Bring lunch and a plate to share.
If you can help l would love to hear from you.
