The question on everyone's lips..... I love ric rac and sell it in all colours and sizes, my fav would have to be the linen ric rac. Have never known how you measure the width of the different ric racs until now.
Great to use when doing embroidery, simply run through your printer, press onto your background fabric and start stitching.
Then simply remove by submerging in warm water, agitate for 2 - 3 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
Through me, Lisa has used Cottage Garden Threads, there are 14 all up, @ $7 a hank. You will also need 1" elongated hexagons, 7/ 8" hexagons and 1/ 2" hexagons. Let me know if you need any of these, can get the CGT in with my monthly order.
To those who asked about starter kits for Fig n Berry's new BOM Round the Garden Path, heres what l have come up with, the first two pics show a 'dirty' ranged of fabrics with a cream Quilter's Muslin for the background. The third pic is a pretty version, l will use a white Quilter'sMuslin with this kit.
A call out to designers or anyone who wants to be a part of this for that matter, The Monbulk Quilt Show is on March 3rd.
Each year we make up 100 show bags the first hundred people through the door ( you don’t need to donate 100 of something, we will put whatever you donate to good use, it doesn’t matter if the show bags contain different things), a runner up raffle prize and a Viewers Choice prize for best quilt. If you are able to donate for one of those that would be brilliant.
If you would like to donate patterns or something quilty, (actually we will make use of whatever you donate) can you please get in touch.
For many years l have hoped and wished that we could hang some quilts up along Main St in Monbulk. Well looks like it will finally happen for this year's show. I met with the lovely Sarah from the Monbulk Bendigo Bank today and she thinks we can do it.
